David McPeak, CSP, CHST, CUSP, CSSM, is the Director of Professional Development at the Incident Prevention Institute of UBM. David graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Information Systems and Operations Management. His professional experience includes operations management along with safety and training. He holds multiple safety and training certifications from the BCSP, USOLN, and NCCER and has received numerous awards including being recognized as a Rising Star of Safety by the National Safety Council. David has served as the Chairman of Task Team One of the OSHA ET&D Partnership, on the Editorial Board of Incident Prevention Magazine, and as a member of the North Carolina Apprenticeship Council.
David’s personal interests include family time with his wife and son, golf, basketball, participating in 5K’s, and paddle boarding. He volunteers for various roles including Sunday School teacher, coach, and Cub Scout Den Leader in his church and community.
Derek has had a diverse career that spans 30 years in live entertainment, facility operations and business development. With a degree in marketing, he has worked in a wide variety of roles helping startups and small businesses develop successful teams and business processes. His passion for all things digital along with a strong finance and operations background have allowed him to help us grow and scale the UBM business.
Curtis is an award-winning instructional designer with more than 15 years of experience developing professional educational products. He also brings a wealth of copywriting, graphic design, video production and LMS management experience to the UBM team. He earned his degree in Journalism from Northern Illinois University.
Highly skilled, professional and service oriented, Stacy is the Frontline Project Manager for Utility Business Media and handles the technical support needs. Stacy has been with UBM for nine years.
